The game of chance is bait and switch, cloak and dagger. Written for a small chamber ensemble, this piece experiments with unusual rhythms and melodies. Avante-garde, challenging to play, but still digestable.
"Off kilter tones and ravaging cello combats the sound of intermittent piano. The music gives the image of a threatening creature slithering about unnoticed. The eyes keeping a careful watch on the victim it stalks from the shadows of a menacing dark and twisted composition."
