From "Neurotic", an electronica concept album I wrote between 2005 and 2007, and released as a physical CD through CDBaby in 2007. Here is the story text that is meant to be read along with this track:
Metal bits penetrate my scull.
Dark voices echo.
There is no ignoring them.
It would be useless to resist them.
They are a part of me now; they know all that I know.
I am infected... diseased...
Someone is trying to fix me.
Little do they know of the plight it is causing.
The demons spill my inner most secrets.
They are dusting off memories of old,
That even I didn't know existed.
Phantasms of actors on a stage play out my worst memories,
My worst fears.
I now relive the past,
With stabbing pains to my heart.
But at the same time, this nostalgia brings great joy.
