From "Neurotic", an electronica concept album I wrote between 2005 and 2007, and released as a physical CD through CDBaby in 2007. Here is the story text that is meant to be read along with this track:
I awake from my dreary dream to find a state of havoc.
Intruders at the gates! Don't let them in!
What have I done to cause this...
It could not be due to my relentless dancing...
Pain beyond endurance surges through my nerves.
A bolt of electricity courses around my body.
They have breeched the barrier.
The invaders have succeeded.
Imperial in their ways; leeches seeking energy.
Attached and settled; their grip will not loosen.
My only choice is to live with them.
Fighters of my own will all perish in an attempt to eradicate them.
The foreigner is now a part of me, I must accept.
But these creatures are feeding off of my thoughts!
